WorldView-2 (WV2) is a commercial imaging satellite of DigitalGlobe Inc. of Longmont, CO, USA (follow-on spacecraft to WorldView-1). Launch: The WorldView-2 spacecraft was launched on October 8, 2009 on a Delta 7920 vehicle of ULA (United Launch Alliance) from VAFB, CA. ULA provided the services for this mission on behalf of BLS (Boeing Launch Services).
